LG UltraGear 32GQ950 Monitor: Release Date, Price, Specs And More
The LG UltraGear 32GQ950 gaming monitor is one of the most exciting displays set for release and is likely to find its place amongst the best HDMI 2.1 monitors to date, once it's available.
Unlike the incoming wave of 27" 360hz monitors that are heading our way this year, the LG UltraGear 32GQ950 offers a great option for console gamers as well as those playing on PC.
We've got everything you need to know right here about the upcoming monitor and why we think it's worth getting excited about.
LG 32GQ950 Release Date
There is currently no confirmed release date for the LG UltraGear 32GQ950, but if it aligns with the recently announced LG UltraGear 48GQ900, which is said to be arriving in the second half of the year, we may not be waiting too much longer.
LG recently stated that both of the new monitors would be arriving this month in Japan and other regions following afterwards, we're hoping to hear a confirmed release date soon.

LG 32GQ950 Specs
The LG UltraGear 32GQ950 boasts a 4K resolution on a 32-inch Nano IPS display alongside a rapid 144Hz refresh rate (O/C 160Hz) and swift 1ms (GtG) response time.
While 32-inches may not be as large as some of the best OLED gaming monitors heading our way, it provides a larger, alternative option to similar displays such as the ASUS TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A.
The new monitor from LG also boasts VESA certified DisplayHDR 1,000 which means this display should offer a dynamic contrast with brighter whites and deeper blacks and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
Interestingly, the Nano IPS display is set to feature ATW Polarizer technology which should help improve colour fidelity and enhance the clarity of darker content.

While this monitor may seem akin to the upcoming ViewSonic ELITE XG321UG which offer similar specs via a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, this display also includes HDMI 2.1 capabilities.
This means the LG UltraGear 32GQ950 could be an excellent choice for next-gen console gamers and allows you to play in 4K at 120Hz when playing on the PS5 or Xbox Series X.
LG has also stated in their announcement of the monitor that it will include variable refresh rate technology, which should help reduce screen tearing and help deliver fast fluid gameplay.
For those looking for high speed, smooth gameplay alongside stunning visuals, we think this could be an excellent choice to consider.
